Nigerians React To Shekau's Inclusion In TIME's Rating

On Thursday, April 16, the 2015 TIME 100 most influential people in the world was finally published. Several Nigerians were included.
What should have been regarded as recognition, turned out as an insult. And all because of one name: Abubakar Shekau, Boko Haram leader.
Although President-elect Muhammadu Buhari, BBOG activist Oby Ezekwesili and writer Chimamanda Adichie were listed, all eyes were on Nigeria’s terrorist number one.
Most Nigerians that commented on the rating accused TIME of promoting terrorism and lacking respect to Nigerians.
