NFL Draft To Hand Out Flashier Caps
Surely flaunting a kaleidoscope of gaudy and glitzy suits, players selected in the April 30th NFL Draft will now be handed eye-catching caps by commissioner Roger Goodell to match.
the official cap of the NFL, has redesigned the hats with a metallic “liquid chrome” logo and underbrim stencil graphic of the team’s home city skyline.
After Goodell ceremoniously delivers the draftee his new jersey and hat, the first look the world will get of these new NFL players will be from a camera angle ideally zooming in on New Era’s revamped caps. A spotlight reflects off the shimmering polyurethane logo and the viewer peaks at the underbrim graphic.
“We wanted to make a big splash with it,” senior design manager Mike Raychel said of ditching the typical embroidery for an “edgier” look.
